What do you do to look after yourself?
Taking care of ourselves is sometimes easier said than done. Why is it so hard, if it is so important to make sure we take good care of our body, mind, and soul? If we learn how to eat healthy foods, learn how to reduce stress, and exercise it can all contribute to help us stay healthy and happy.
If you don’t do much for yourself personally, what can you start to do?
We often fail at Self-Care because it isn’t always easy. Most of us are busy enough that self-care is last in our to do list. While others just experience feelings of guilt about taking the time to practice self-care. The following are some ideas on what we can start doing as we learn to practice self-care.
- Exercise
- Rest
- Eat healthy foods
- Don’t feel shame to say no to others
- Read a book
- Have a spa day
